Located in Kenya’s rugged northern frontier, Samburu is home to rare and unique wildlife found nowhere else in Kenya — the Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. The Ewaso Ng’iro River running through the reserve draws incredible concentrations of animals.
